The Distribution Fulfillment and Warehouse Specialist reports directly to the Manager of Distribution, Fulfilment and Warehouse.
The Distribution Fulfillment and Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the daily physical fulfillment of all products to distributors, self-distribution and our retail locations. This includes, but not limited to, inventory management, order fulfillment and potential delivery. This position will provide inventory organization and tracking and assist with other departmental needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to)
Essential Duties
- Prepare and assure proper product delivery of packaged product to our locations, distributors, and self-distribution.
- Assists in placement, organization, and tracking of all packaged product inventory.
- Responsible for the logistics of all weekly Mercury, Brewery, and Wholesale inventory. This includes but is not limited to inventory tracking numbers, moving cases, kegs, and pallets to prepare for the new weeks inventory received from the packaging department.
- Responsible for keeping inventory and coordinating order fulfillment with the Manager of Distribution, Fulfilment and Warehouse to ensure proper and timely product delivery.
- Prepare packaged product and required documentation for all customer pickups and self-distribution deliveries.
- Responsible for tracking and notification of all receivable packaging items such as merchandise, Fedex, or UPS packages to the correct departments within the company.
- Assists in placement, organization, and tracking of all packaged product inventory.
- Assists the Manager of Distribution, Fulfillment and Warehouse with inventory management of packaged product on a daily, weekly and for End of Month.
- Assists retail and brewery staff in relocating packaged product can and keg inventory from storage to retail and brewery sales areas.
- Operate and understand core functions of web software tools used for online store and inventory management software.
- Assists in scheduling, monitoring, and supervising preventative maintenance of department related facility equipment.
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of all company procedures and policies; exemplifies, upholds, and enforces all policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Required
- Requires a high school diploma, college degree preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the customer service, retail, and/or hospitality industry, preferably in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills. The ability to collect, organize, analyze, and report on key performance indicators of the business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel with the ability to learn and us POS systems, inventory management, and other business software.
- Strong organization and communication skills to discern and address the needs of customers and fellow employees.
- Demonstrated ability and desire to have a positive attitude and professional demeanor in all situations.
- Passion for Levante and the craft beer business; strong knowledge of craft beer is desired.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels across the organizations.
- Must be able to lift 55lbs and move kegs with assistance and can stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
- Previous warehouse, forklift, packaging, or customer service experience a plus, but not required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Must be 21 years of age or older
