Location: West Chester, PA

Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Production Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform and supervise daily packaging duties
• Accountable for maintaining excellent quality and yield of packaged product
• Accountable for all packaging line cleaning, sanitation, preventative/operational maintenance, and upkeep
• Accountable for planning, sourcing, and maintaining packaging materials inventories
• Responsible for team member scheduling and supervision
• Accountable for recording and reporting packaging metrics
• Demonstrate and adhere to company core values at all times

Key Metrics:

• Responsible for meeting or exceeding established company goals for quality and yield of packaged product
• Maintain all cleaning/sanitation and maintenance logs and monitor chemical levels on equipment
• Monitor packaging material inventory levels and report needs to Production Manager to ensure that all required supplies are on hand
• Post schedules for team members in a timely manner to maximize labor efficiency
• Document all required packaging data in an accurate and timely manner

Skill Sets:

• Proficient technical and operational knowledge of brewery packaging systems (canning/kegging lines, keg washer, depalletizer, label applicator, etc)
• Functional level of understanding of the QA/QC process
• Practical knowledge of commonly used computer software
• Ability to operate a forklift (training will be provided)
• Able to work in a team environment as well as being self-motivated

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive motions
• Able to frequently lift 55 pounds and be able to move full kegs (up to 165 pounds)
• Able to work in loud, variable temperature, and wet conditions
